For your convenience, we offer no-interest monthly payment plans and flexible down payment options. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Our financial coordinator will work with you to find the best option that is right for you.
We strives to be as accessible as possible to our patients. That’s why we participate with most local and national health insurance carriers. Whether you have dental insurance through your employer or at an individual level, our team will work with you to make sure you understand what your benefits cover and how to maximize them.

Orthodontic insurance is separate from medical and dental. If you have dental insurance, it’s quite possible that you have Orthodontic benefits; however, Orthodontic benefits are separate from your normal dental insurance. Please contact us and our friendly team member is available to help you if you’re unsure of what your insurance covers.
At Kitagaito Orthodontics, one of our values is our honesty to help establish a trusting relationship. So our fees are all-inclusive, covering all appointments, x-rays images, braces or aligners, retainers, and other appliances designed to make your teeth beautiful. During special circumstance if additional fees are involved, we will be transparent with you if the procedure requires any extra charges.
Prior to starting treatment, we can verify your orthodontic insurance and estimate your coverage. As a courtesy to our patients, we file all insurance claims, regardless if they are in-network or not. Being out-of-network may affect the amount of coverage and reimbursement you receive for your orthodontic treatment. However, we will still file your claims and help you maximize your benefits as much as possible.
We will also provide you with an estimate of your out-of-pocket costs before starting the treatment, so you can plan accordingly. If you have any questions or concerns about your insurance coverage, please feel free to contact us at any time. We are here to help you achieve a beautiful smile.
If you change employers and/or insurance companies during the course of your orthodontic treatment, please let us know right away.
We can help you submit a claim to your new insurance company from your new employer and location. If your new plan allows for “Orthodontic Treatment in Progress”, the new insurance should pick up payments when you send in a claim and submit the amount of months left of treatment.
If your employer changed your insurance during the course of your orthodontic treatment, please let us know right away.
We can submit a claim to the new insurance company. That claim should be prorated according to the date when the braces were placed and the number of months remaining. The new insurance company will consider how many months the prior insurance company has paid and how many months are left in the treatment. In this case the new insurance company should pick up the payments where the other company has left off.
