Our Retainers
Retainers are orthodontic devices that are used to maintain the alignment of teeth after your orthodontic treatment. They are essential devices used to maintain the alignment of your teeth after completing orthodontic treatment. They play a critical role because they help avoid your teeth from moving back to their original positions and ultimately preserve your new smile.
Generally, there are two types of removable retainers and one type of fixed retainer. The two types of removable retainers, Hawley and Essix, are made to be taken out. Fixed retainers on the other hand are bonded to the back of your teeth and cannot be removed.
If you experience any discomfort or notice that your retainer isn’t fitting properly, contact us right away. They may need to adjust or replace your retainer to ensure that your teeth stay in their correct position.
